The tour driver will pick you up from your hotel / airport / railway station or wherever you are in the capital. You will then be taken to Jaipur in an already booked A.C taxi. The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is about 261 kilometers so if you leave early, you will stay in Jaipur till breakfast time. Jaipur is all about the rich Rajasthani culture and hospitality.
Once you are in Jaipur, you will first have a nice sumptuous breakfast at any heritage hotel in the city. After that, you will proceed for sightseeing of Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, is a red and pink sandstone palace. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.If you climb to the top of this palace you will get a wonderful view of Jantar Mantar-Shahi Observatory and City Palace. The next tourist destination you must visit is Amber Fort. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort displays magnificent Rajput military architecture. It is a very big fort and you will need about 2 hours to see it completely.
Once you see Amber Fort, your next place will be Jantar Mantar. It takes about half an hour to reach Jantar Mantar from Amber Fort. Jantar Mantar was built by Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh 2 in 1734. This royal observatory has the largest stone in the entire world.
Once you see Jantar Mantar, you can enjoy a delectable Rajasthani cuisine at any of Jaipur’s famous dining places like Mayur Rooftop Restaurant, The Rajput Toom, Baloch etc.
After lunch, you should visit Jal Mahal. This beautiful palace is situated right in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. This is a very clean place.
After visiting Jal Mahal, you must visit the City Palace. It was built in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. This palace complex includes gardens, courtyards, etc. It is known for its beautiful architecture and carvings. The palace has two parts. One is open for public viewing and the other part houses members of the royal family.
